Meet your doula

Hola, my name is Mariana (ella/she/her). I’m currently a Pregnancy Release Doula (for abortion, miscarriage, loss), an aspiring full-spectrum doula, Curandera practicing Mexican traditional medicine (MTM), and Reiki practitioner, focusing on what makes you whole; mind, body, and spirit.

My practice, TICALLI, means “sacred space of healing” in Nahuatl; my offering to you and anyone seeking care, and nurturing for their whole self.

I have a background in community health education, I currently work at an abortion fund, rooting my care deeply in reproductive justice. I believe abortion is an empowering way of honoring bodily autonomy and self-trust. My care is grounded in love, sovereignty, dignity, and the wisdom of the body.

My current offerings may include supporting the passing of the pregnancy at home or in-clinic, energy work, herbal support, limpias, barridas, closing of the bones ceremonies as rites of passage, and grief ceremonies. My practice comes from the heart, from my ancestors, and from the belief that everyone deserves empowerment and tenderness in their reproductive care and individual experiences.
